Setelah nonton pertarungan dahsyat antar autobot di film Transformers 2, kayaknya belum afdhol kalau enggak sekalian merasakan aksi serunya lewat gim Transformers 2 Revenge of The Fallen. Lalu cara memainkannya gimana, kalau penasaran ini sekilas gambarannya.

Di gim ini para user bisa milih sebagai Autobots ataupun Decepticons, dua-duanya punya cerita yang mirip sama filmnya. Cuma untuk Decepticons ending-nya tersendiri.

Untuk pertempuran dahsyat yang enggak muncul di film aslinya. Ditambah banyak robot yang di film aslinya enggak ada muncul dalam gim ini.

Permainan yang dibagi dalam beberapa kelompok akan bertarung dengan tiga atau empat macam robot yang jumlahnya lumayan banyak. Namun robot-robot enggak terlalu susah ditaklukan, akan seru sewaktu berhadapan sama bos yang punya kekuatan lebih besar. Para Bos ini adalah karakter utama yang memang ada di dalam filmnya.

Kelompok para Autobots ini terdiri dari 5 jagoan. Optimus Prime (truk besar Peterbilt 379), Bumblebee (Chevrolet Camaro), Jazz (Pontiac Solstice), Ironhide (GMC Topkick C4500), dan Ratchet (Hummer H2). Sedangkan anggota Decepticons terdiri dari Megatron (jet tempur Cybertron), Blackout (Helikopter Pave Low MH-53), Starscream (F-22 Raptor), Barricade (Saleen S281 Mustang), Bonecrusher (kendaraan anti ranjau Buffalo H) dan Brawl (Tank M1 Abrams)

Khusus yang mau memainkan Blackout ditambahkan robot scorpion kecil bernama Scorponok, robot mungil ini bisa melepaskan diri dan tentunya bisa menyerang. Kalau robot-robot ini berubah ke bentuk mobil, sistem senjata tetap bisa dipakai. Tapi kekurangannya, Ratchet cuma muncul dalam cutscene, Bonecrusher dan Brawl cuma jadi NPC saja. Ketiganya enggak bisa dikendalikan dalam gim.

Untuk sistem persenjataan, tiap robot punya dua macam jenis senjata yaitu light weapon dan heavy weapon. Light weapon adalah senjataan yang ringan, bisa ditembakkan dengan rate of fire cukup tinggi. Heavy Weapon memiliki rate of fire lebih lambat tapi daya hancurnya lebih besar.

Meski ada senjata berat untuk tiap robot, pertempuran melawan robot lain bisa dibilang jarang memakai senjata. Karena tiap robot yang cuma mampu memakai shield yang enggak dibatasi waktu atau energi. Kegunaan Shield sendiri melindungi robot dari tembakan musuh tanpa damage sedikitpun.

Biarpun punya kekurangan, gim ini tetap asik untuk dimainkannya. Transformers 2 Revenge of The Fallen bisa dimainkan lewat gamestation seperti X-Box 360, PS 2 dan 3 , Wii, PC, DS, dan PSP. So, coba-in deh serunya perang di gim ini
